More than 280 people are missing and feared dead, after an overloaded boat capsized in the Andaman Sea last week.
The vessel left Bangladesh, carrying mostly Rohingya refugees, heading towards Malaysia.
Thousands of people attempt the dangerous crossing every year.
Only nine people were rescued.
Al Jazeera's Tanvir Chowdhury reports from Dhaka.
