Strong 7.5 earthquake hits off Japan, tsunami warning issued
A 7.5 magnitide earthquake struck northern Japan on Monday triggering tsunami warnings in the region, Japan's Meteorological Agency said.
The tremor was strong enough to shake large buildings as far as Tokyo, hundreds of kilometres away.
