Lebanon reels from deadly Israeli strikes after Iran-US ceasefire

Israeli strikes have hit several densely populated commercial and residential areas in Beirut without warning, killing large numbers of people and wounding many more, just hours after a ceasefire was announced in the United States-Israeli war on Iran.
Dozens of sites were targeted within minutes, including residential neighbourhoods across the city.
Hospitals have been overwhelmed, issuing urgent appeals for doctors and nurses as casualties continue to rise.
Entire neighbourhoods have been reduced to rubble, leaving families displaced and uncertain where to go.
Rescue teams worked through the night, pulling more victims from the debris.
Hezbollah says Lebanon should be included in the ceasefire, warning the attacks risk undermining the agreement.
