France wildfire: Local economy faces huge rebuilding and reforestation bill
While the focus still remains containing the forest fires blazing through the Gironde department, the challenge of rebuilding and replanting has already begun.
And it is likely to be a costly one coming in, according to the government, at between 5 and 10 thousand euros a hectare.
