UNESCO grants World Heritage status to Iran’s Alamut Castle and Related Fortifications
TEHRAN – Iran’s “Alamut Castle and Related Fortifications” has been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, becoming the country’s 30th tangible cultural heritage property to receive the prestigious international designation.
