Tornado barrels through city in northern Oklahoma
Officials say a powerful tornado that barreled through Oklahoma damaged homes and sent emergency crews door-to-door in hard-hit neighborhoods.
The most extensive damage was near the rural town of Enid on Thursday night.
Video posted online shows a rapidly moving column of air touching down along with totaled homes.
The Garfield County Sherriff's Office said there were no immediate reports of fatalities and only minor injuries hours after the tornado passed through.
An Enid Police Department spokesperson said there had been early reports of people trapped in homes and extensive damage.
