Witkoff and Kushner join Vance for first in-person talks with Iran

US officials taking part in peace talks with the Iranian delegation include vice president JD Vance, along with envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, AFP reports, citing a senior White House official.

The negotiations – the first since the 1979 Islamic Revolution – will be a three-way face-to-face meeting between the United States, Iran and Pakistan.

Senior officials from the US and Iran landed in Islamabad on Friday evening and talks began on Saturday to bring an end to the six-week war.
