Sir Keir Starmer will give a statement to the Commons on the situation in the Middle East this afternoon.

The prime minister will address MPs at around 3.30pm - following their return to Westminster from the Easter recess.

Members have been in their constituencies for the past few weeks, but parliament will resume sitting within the next hour.
