A magnitude 5.9 earthquake rattled eastern Japan, including Tokyo, early Sunday, injuring 23 people.
Most injuries were minor, with people falling or hitting furniture as they reacted to the shaking.
The quake caused train delays and a water pipe rupture, but there was no tsunami danger or reported nuclear facility damage.
