Uncertainty continues around the Strait of Hormuz as Iran and the United States give conflicting statements about whether the key shipping route is open.
Donald Trump insists the naval blockade will remain until a peace deal is reached, while Iranian officials argue the strait is only open under strict conditions and Iranian authorization.
At the same time, both sides remain divided over Iran’s enriched nuclear material, with Washington claiming it will be transferred and Tehran rejecting the idea entirely.
Despite talk of progress, Iranian sources say negotiations are still at an early stage, with only a framework being discussed , not a final agreement.
