Search continues for potential victims of Dallas apartment blast and fire
Authorities are searching for more potential victims of an explosion and massive fire at a Dallas apartment building that killed at least three people.
Firefighters were rushing to a reported gas leak at the building when it exploded Thursday afternoon.
The explosion shook nearby homes and the inferno destroyed the two-story complex.
Officials say a child and at least two other people were killed, and five more were injured.
The odor of the fire lingered in the air Friday morning as investigators searched the charred wreckage.
The National Transportation Safety Board says it is sending a team to investigate.
