Chandranath Rath: BJP’s Bhabanipur strategist who took on Mamata Banerjee during dramatic strongroom standoff silenced in midnight ambush
Chandranath Rath, a close aide to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari and a former Indian Air Force officer, was shot dead in North 24 Parganas.
Rath was a key political operator, notably involved in Adhikari's Bhabanipur campaign and late-night protests following the assembly elections.
