Hungary election: Viktor Orban concedes Hungarian election ending 16 years in power

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has conceded the Hungarian election, ending 16 years in power.

Preliminary results with 53.45% of ⁠votes counted ​projected Peter Magyar's Tisza ​party winning ​136 seats ⁠in Hungary's 199-member parliament ⁠compared with ​56 seats for ​Orban's Fidesz.

The result is a blow to Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin who have lost a key ally in Europe.
