Walmart Redesigns Great Value Brand

The nation's largest grocer is positioning Great Value as a high-quality alternative to premium brands as consumer shopping habits evolve.

The new packaging is designed to help both in-store shoppers and gig workers quickly identify product features, such as protein content and dietary certifications.

This move comes as other retailers like Amazon and Aldi continue to invest heavily in their own private label offerings.

The rollout is expected to begin in May and represents a significant investment in Walmart's most widely penetrated store brand.
