Pentagon warns Iran over blockade

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and General Dan Caine provided a stark update on the naval blockade squeezing Iranian ports near the Strait of Hormuz.

Hegseth warned that while a ceasefire is currently in place, the U.S. military is prepared to resume bombing campaigns against Iran's power and energy grid should negotiations collapse.

General Caine reported that 13 ships have already been turned away by the blockade, which involves over 10,000 U.S. troops and more than a dozen warships.

The Pentagon remains vigilant as intelligence suggests Iran is attempting to recover missile launchers from previously targeted facilities.
