Zelensky Meets Allies in London

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London for talks on European support for Ukraine.

The discussions focused on stepping up efforts to end the war, occurring hours after a Russian drone strike damaged a storage center for spent nuclear fuel near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Zelensky is seeking ways for allies to further pressure Russia to end the fighting.
