London synagogues targeted by arsonists

A series of suspected 'firebomb' attacks has targeted synagogues and Jewish-owned premises in northwest London.

The Metropolitan Police have deployed extra resources to the area following the fifth such incident claimed by an Iran-linked group.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has condemned the attacks as 'abhorrent' and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

While no injuries have been reported, the escalation has caused widespread alarm and prompted calls for increased security for the UK's Jewish population.
