Israel Establishes 'Yellow Line' in Lebanon

Despite a 10-day ceasefire taking effect last week, Israel has continued to strike what it calls 'terrorist cells' operating near its troops along the new line.

Lebanese officials have accused Israel of systematically flattening civilian buildings within the zone to make it uninhabitable.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed regret for the accidental destruction of a Jesus statue by a soldier but maintains that security measures are necessary to prevent Hezbollah violations.

Thousands of displaced Lebanese remain in a state of limbo, unable to return to their homes in the border region.
