Lululemon probed over 'forever chemicals'

The probe into Lululemon Athletica centers on whether the company misled consumers regarding the safety and health impacts of its products.

Attorney General Paxton issued a Civil Investigative Demand to determine if the apparel contains perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), which are linked to cancer and infertility.

Lululemon shares fell following the announcement of the investigation.

The company maintains that its products are safe and that it has proactively phased out the chemicals in question.
