Hegseth Issues Final Iran Warning

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth delivered a stern ultimatum to Tehran, asserting that the United States is prepared to escalate military actions if a permanent peace deal is not reached.

During a Pentagon briefing, Hegseth highlighted the success of the current naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, which has already turned away 13 vessels.

He emphasized that the U.S. Navy remains in control of maritime traffic and is ready to target Iran's power and energy grids.

The briefing occurred as a fragile ceasefire continues, with the administration seeking a permanent resolution to the seven-week conflict.
