Russia-Ukraine Easter ceasefire
The ceasefire is scheduled to begin on Saturday afternoon and last until midnight on Sunday.
President Zelenskyy has stated that while the people need an Easter without threats, the military must remain vigilant against potential provocations.
A major prisoner exchange is also reportedly planned for the weekend as part of the humanitarian pause.
Despite the temporary halt in fighting, few observers believe the move will lead to a lasting peace agreement between the two nations.
