NASA completes Nancy Grace Roman Telescope
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope represents a significant leap forward in astronomical technology, aimed at probing the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy.
Named after NASA's first chief astronomer, the telescope will measure light from a billion galaxies during its lifetime and search for distant planets outside our solar system.
The observatory features massive solar panels and a field of view at least 100 times larger than that of the Hubble Space Telescope.
Its early completion allows for a launch from Florida as early as late 2026, providing an unprecedented 'atlas of the universe.'
