March of the Living in Poland

March of the Living in Poland

Thousands of people, including 50 Holocaust survivors, have gathered in Poland for the annual March of the Living to remember the victims of Nazi Germany.

The memorial at Auschwitz took place amid logistical difficulties caused by regional airspace restrictions associated with the ongoing Iran war.

Participants from around the world joined the 3-kilometer walk from Auschwitz to Birkenau to honor the six million Jews murdered during World War II. Global law enforcement leaders also united at the event to pledge protection for vulnerable communities against rising antisemitism.

The ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of the atrocities committed and a call to prevent such evil from prevailing again.
