Boy Crashes Truck Into Thai Monks

An 11-year-old boy drove his parents' pickup truck into a Buddhist procession in northeastern Thailand, killing at least nine monks and seriously injuring around 10 others.

The group were walking along a roadside in Mukdahan province during a pilgrimage when the crash occurred.

The victims were among 35 monks and five followers on their way from a temple to another, about 600 km northeast of Bangkok.

Horrifying video showed the monks being mowed down shortly after they set off on the 161-mile trek.
