Starmer faces Mandelson vetting scandal

The British government is embroiled in a growing crisis as evidence suggests senior civil servants were aware of Peter Mandelson's security vetting failure weeks before the Prime Minister was informed.

Keir Starmer is scheduled to update the House of Commons on Monday as the Conservative Party demands a formal Privileges Committee inquiry into the matter.
