Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer Resigns
Lori Chavez-DeRemer is exiting her post as Labor Secretary, marking the third high-profile departure from the Trump Cabinet in recent months.
The White House confirmed her resignation on Monday, naming Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling as the acting secretary for the department.
Her tenure was increasingly overshadowed by an internal watchdog probe into allegations of misused resources and inappropriate conduct.
The administration is now moving to reshape its leadership team ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
