School food standards overhaul

Under the new regulations, school menus will no longer be allowed to feature fried nuggets, fish and chips, or sausage rolls.

Sweetened baked goods such as cakes, doughnuts, and ice cream will be restricted to once-a-week service, while more vegetables and whole grains will become mandatory.
