Meta unveils Muse Spark AI model
The model was developed by a team of elite AI researchers poached from rival firms last year, marking Meta's most ambitious attempt to catch up with OpenAI and Anthropic.
Muse Spark is designed for high-speed processing and is set to be integrated across all of Meta's social platforms in the coming months.
However, early benchmarks have drawn criticism from some developers who argue the model prioritizes speed over real-world utility.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has defended the release, stating that the company is taking a transparent approach to the model's limitations while continuing to refine its superintelligence goals.
