Krishna Raja Sagara

Krishna Raja Sagara, also known as KRS and, locally, as Kannambadi Katte, is a lake and the dam that forms it. Both sit near the settlement of Krishna Raja Sagara in the Indian State of Karnataka. The gravity dam, built of surki mortar, stands just below where the river Kaveri meets its tributaries Hemavati and Lakshmana Tirtha, in Mandya district.
