Celebrations and relief in Lebanon as ceasefire with Israel begins – video
Celebrations have taken hold across Lebanon after a 10-day truce agreed with Israel began on Friday morning.
Celebratory gunfire erupted in Beirut’s southern suburbs, and people beeped their car horns and cheered across the country as they returned to their homes after being displaced by Israeli strikes.
While many appeared hopeful, some were still cautious.
