Xi Jinping Meets Foreign Leaders

Xi Jinping Meets Foreign Leaders

The diplomatic flurry in Beijing comes as China seeks to position itself as a stabilizing force during the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran.

During talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Xi hailed the 'precious' stability of China-Russia relations and discussed ways to compensate for energy supply disruptions.

Xi also met with Vietnam's newly elected president, To Lam, calling for prioritized infrastructure connectivity and socialist solidarity.

The meetings underscore China's efforts to court US allies and strengthen its own strategic partnerships as global trade tensions intensify.
