Rodrigo Paz Pereira
President of Bolivia
Rodrigo Paz Pereira is a Bolivian politician and diplomat who has served as the 68th president of Bolivia since 2025. The eldest son of former president Jaime Paz Zamora and great-nephew of president Víctor Paz Estenssoro, he served as a senator for Tarija from 2020 to 2025. He also previously served as mayor of Tarija from 2015 to 2020 and as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2002 to 2010, representing his father's Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR).
